The new Casino del Mar is located outside the hotel Howard Johnson, to the south of the Ecuadorian city of Manta. The firm “Grupo C” will be in charge of the operation of the gaming room.

Jose Carrera, casino administrator, said that Manta is a city that projects to the future, so entertainment places are needed, mainly directed to an adult public. “We made a previous study of the market and, from there, we decided that it would be great to have a place in this city like the one we are about to open”, he explained.

Grupo C, the company that created Casinos del Mar, is planning to open more casinos in Ecuador, in cities like Guayaquil, Quito and Cuenca.

The administrator said that the personnel that is working in the casino has been trained, in the last few months, to offer a good service to the clients and also assured that the maximum prizes of slots go from two to four thousand dollars, depending on the machine and the prize that is bet on, and Caribbean poker will have an accumulated prize of five million dollars.

The day of the opening, a musical group of international projection will be in charge of sounding the event and a 0 km car will be given away among the assistants.
